Sweetgrass

Sweetgrass is a hardy, aromatic perennial herb native to Europe and North America with a sweet vanilla like fragrance. It has been considered a sacred powerful plant by some Native Americans tribes for centuries where it was used as a smudging herb during ceremony believed to dispel negative energy and elicit emotional strength. This bar has a soft, sweet and grassy scent reminiscent of sweetgrass and has the added benefits of French green clay and turmeric that work to gently exfoliate, detoxify and ease skin irritations.

I use natural, organic, and sustainably and responsibly sourced ingredients. All soaps are free of synthetic colorants, fragrances and preservatives, and always made free of palm oil. All of the goat milk in my soap comes from my very own goats that I hand milk every day, are fed an organic diet and spend their days frolicking in the woods living their best lives. Goat milk is an amazing ingredient for skin as it  makes for a rich, creamy and luxurious soap lather and gentle exfoliating cleanser which is rich in beneficial vitamins, minerals and fatty acids that work to help support healthy skin. Goat milk can be  particularly beneficial to those who suffer from dry skin conditions and inflammation such as eczema and psoriasis.

*Goat Milk, *Olive Oil, *Coconut Oil, *Shea Butter, *Rice Bran Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (used for saponification: turning oils into soap), *Castor Oil, *Annatto Seed, *Spirulina, *Vanilla, Vetiver, *Sage, *Litsea, *Lemongrass and *Cedarwood Essential Oils.
