Citrus Calendula

This soap is made with calendula from my garden and added two ways, the flowers are infused in the oils as well as added directly to the top layer of the soap for a bit of exfoliation. Calendula is known as a healing plant with a wide array of skin soothing benefits and has been used for centuries for healing wounds, reducing scarring, and hydrating and nourishing dry skin. It can be particularly beneficial for those who suffer from skin irritations such as eczema or psoriasis and is gentle enough to use on babies for diaper rash. This soap smells like a warm Summer day with a bright citrus forward blend of lemongrass, bergamot and sweet orange and bit of sweet earthy from copaiba balsam. 

I use natural, organic, and sustainably and responsibly sourced ingredients. All soaps are free of synthetic colorants, fragrances and preservatives, and always made free of palm oil. All of the goat milk in my soap comes from my very own goats that I hand milk every day, are fed an organic diet and spend their days frolicking in the woods living their best lives. Goat milk is an amazing ingredient for skin care as it works as a gentle exfoliating cleanser which is rich in fatty acids that help to support healthy skin and makes for a rich creamy and luxurious soap lather. 


Ingredients:
*Goat milk, *Olive oil, *Rice bran, *Coconut oil, *Shea butter, Sodium hydroxide (used for saponification: turning oils into soap),* Castor oil, *Calendula, *Annatto Seed, *Lemongrass, *Bergamot, *Sweet Orange, and Copaiba Balsam Essential Oils.            Topped with *Calendula petals.
